Mini Makers! (Jan health kick!)
This January, we will be hacking a challenge we've received from The Mini Makery. Run by two awesome women Ellie and Kate.
Their mission is to get children playing with healthy, nourishing food. Play encourages even the fussiest of eaters to be more adventurous and discover a love for new found tastes. From handmade pictures you can eat, freshly-pressed juice potions that you create, and incredible keepsake crafts. They're all about the fun, which makes these guys the perfect project for GFN.
They offer curriculum-led workshops in schools across Cheshire, Warrington and North Wales. As well as workshops in farm shops and private birthday parties.
"How do we get more kids playing with healthy food, and more schools aware of how they can help their pupils?"
Help local children find the fun in healthy eating, by hacking for this amazing organisation. The evening will comprise:
A quick Q & A (during which The Mini Makery will be testing our tastebuds with a mystery mocktail potion!)
Snack - The Mini Makery are supplying juice and fruit snacks
