I think GFN is a great idea. It sounds like TED lectures with a more practical collaborative element. I'm currently studying for a degree in Environmental Design & Innovation, it'd be nice to practice some of my newly gained knowledge whilst doing something worthwhile.
Claire's 'getting stuff done' manifesto
Since starting my degree I've learnt how to come up with ideas, facilitate brain storming sessions and do a bit of prototyping /storyboarding. I'm also learning about environmental systems. I feel frustrated hearing about all the problems in the world, I want to be part of the solution to help to resolve things, which is why I'm studying my degree and I'd really like to develop these skills further.
