THE HACK
This hack will focus on helping Chester City Baths to stay open, by filling The Pacific pool. Due to rising energy costs and the pool's expensive restoration, the team need something like £10k per month just to keep the water warm!
Hack Considerations:
The Pacific launch event and other events
New audience development
Figuring out how to help the volunteer team to grow and diversify skills
Marketing, design and branding
Promotion and PR
Sales and pricing
Funding
(And any wonderful, weird or whacky ideas across all of the above!)
The hack is open to all GFN members. Any newbies must register as a member before signing up.
Per our usual 24 hour hack format, we'll hold a Q&A on the Friday 22nd July at 6pm at Chester City Baths. This will last about an hour, with a tour of the baths and video. There will be a discounted bar (yes, they have a bar!!!)
Then as usual we'll hold a full day's hack at the baths on Saturday 23rd July from 9am - 5pm. !!!With an exclusive Pool Party afterwards to celebrate!!!

WHAT TO BRING
Please, please bring any kit you will need or may find useful. Laptops, chargers, headphones, sketch pads, notepads etc. We'll supply the usual white boards, flip charts, pens, felt tips and paper for scribbling. AND DON'T FORGET YOUR SWIMMING KIT!
