Good For Nothing is a growing global community of people gifting their time to help accelerate the work of local social enterprises and we're preparing to launch our Melbourne chapter! We run hackathon-like one-day events with talent from the marketing, design and tech fields, and we're looking for 50 people to help with three inspiring local projects (details below).

Been 'n' gone

This gig's over but check out the calendar for the next one.

At this event we'll be working with the following inspiring local projects:

Behind the Wire - an oral history project documenting the stories of men, women and children who have been detained by the Australian government after seeking asylum in Australia.

SugarByHalf - a campaign that aims to reduce Australia's sugar consumption in half to address the devastating effect that excessive sugar is having on the health of Australians, particularly in the dramatic rise in diabetes, obesity, chronic illness and dental decay.

Dads Group Inc. - a not for profit organization setup for new fathers to reduce isolation, family violence and suicide through innovative early intervention.

There are only 50 places for this event, so get signed up today!

** Please note your commitment to this event includes attendance at the Friday night briefing on 26th August 6.30pm-8.30pm, and Saturday working session on 27th August from 9.30am-5.30pm**
