At the Gig Night we want you to gift your skills, passion and enthusiasm to further the creation of The Mentoring Plus Kindness Celebration** an inspiring and fun event planned for International Kindness day (November 13th) that will recognise special acts of kindness shown to vulnerable young people in our community.

…and the details for the nightThe Kindness Celebration will be a multidisciplinary event showcasing stories of kindness by young people, supported by art practitioners and mentors.
As always, everyone is welcome, but we are keen to find folk with the following skills:
Film making and editing
Events curation
Spoken word/poetry
Digital publication

*For those of you who don’t already know,Mentoring Plus is a BaNES charity that trains and supports adult volunteers to mentor 7 – 21 year olds needing extra support with family, education, emotional needs and employability.
**The Kindness Celebration has been developed over the course of our last 3 Gig Nights, in response to the Mentoring Plus’ initial pitch - where their Youth Reps asked us to help bring their Young People’s Manifesto to life
