During my degree, I realised that I wasn't satisfied with production, planning and design for the purpose of capital alone. I believe quite deeply in the responsibility that designers, media professionals, writers etc possess to not just provide something 'new', but to engage with the emotional, psychological, intellectual and social needs that *everyone* has. It is their/our/my job to inspire and help people rediscover. There is always a bigger matter under the surface and I think it's important for ambition and innovation to be used in tackling issues.
