Social Good Social Club
Do you ever suspect that you are Good for Nothing?
If Yes, you’re invited to join up with likeminded, local soon-to-be buddies as we ask: “How might we do some Good for Nothing around in the San Francisco Bay Area?”
Good for Nothing is an experiment in collaborative genius, which has been running in the UK for a few of years with lots of success. Indicators of success are: strategic social impact and good times had by all. We are holding this gathering to gauge the interest in starting up a Good for Nothing Chapter in San Francisco – we would be the first in the USA! – and to collect some ideas from you as to which complex social/environmental challenges you harbor wild dreams of thwarting with raw creativity?
Innovators, makers, artists, entrepreneurs, community leaders, designers, and the curious – all are invited to hear a little about what Good for Nothing chapters are up to elsewhere and imagine together what we might do with a chapter here.
Mingle, laugh, exchange business cards, discuss the challenges you face and the opportunities you're excited about. We will introduce ourselves and GFN in a brief talk at 6:30, followed by some light facilitated idea sharing, then let loose into general mingling for the rest of the night. This event is 21+.
See you there!
